Your journal starts private
New entries are private by default. Generating a public or social version does not publish it. You must explicitly approve a public update, and can return an entry to private at any time.
What Workcrowd stores
Clerk manages your account and session. Your profile, passes, redemptions, participation, private journal, evidence descriptions and submitted results are stored in Neon Postgres. Session cookies keep you signed in. Essential browser storage remembers your cookie preferences for 180 days on this browser. If you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics measures visits, page views and site usage using cookies and device/browser information. Analytics is optional and stays off until you agree. We do not send your private journal text, evidence descriptions or account details as analytics events, and we do not use advertising cookies. Reopen Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw your choice. Your work persists across devices.
Sharing and your public profile
Public profiles show only selected public entries and approved Cover Stories. When you enable your public profile, selected public versions, participation summaries and approved stories can be viewed by anyone with their links. Your private journal text and messages are excluded.
Editorial confidentiality
Review a Cover Story before approving publication. Flag confidential text for removal or correction. Share only information you have permission to use and redact confidential third-party details.
External resources
Fonts may load from Google Fonts. Fictional portraits remain as illustrative content. Vercel hosts the app and Neon provides the database and authentication. No payment processor or external AI service is connected. Social updates are copied or downloaded for you to share.
Privacy controls
You can hide your public profile, return shared entries to private and unpublish stories. Signing out or clearing browser storage does not delete your saved work. Self-service account deletion is not available in this MVP.
