Grounded in a challenge
Stories originate from the participant’s challenge journal, final interview, reported results and selected supporting information. They should distinguish documented events, participant accounts and editorial interpretation.
Factual accuracy and confidentiality
Participants can correct a fact, add context, flag confidential information, challenge an interpretation and approve a quote. Sensitive information can be removed before publication. Private entries are never automatically displayed in a public journey.
Editorial independence
Workcrowd determines structure, framing and final copy. Participants cannot purchase positive coverage or freely rewrite an editorial article. A paid participation fee does not entitle someone to a favorable story.
Evidence, clearly labeled
Participant-reported outcomes are labeled separately from evidence-confirmed outcomes. The preserved example community is fictional. Real participant outcomes are self-reported; no independent verification occurs. Evidence descriptions do not verify the underlying records.
A limited and useful record
Completion does not imply professional superiority. Winner status means the stated criteria were met under the applicable evidence standard. Workcrowd does not rank candidates or make hiring recommendations.
AI interpretation
AI observations are editorial interpretations, not psychological assessments. They can be challenged. The MVP uses scripted reflection prompts and template-based story drafts, without external AI processing. Drafts are saved to your account and published only after your review.
